here is the schematic of 4 ampere stepper motor driver it comes with pwm chopping by which we can control the current flowing. The ic’s i have used for this are below listed
L297(stepper translator)
L6203(5 A max)
7805(5 volt linear regulator)
40106(inverting Schmitt trigger)
mct2e or 4n33 opto coupler (for isolating pulse and direction)
dip switch for selection
